   Research on art


My current research on art is focussed in a continuation of my usual semiotic theory approaches to art encompasing semiotic analysis of language, visual signs, semas, sememas, semantemas and visual icons with from semantique critique cultural analysis so from semiotic theory to cultural linguistic anthropology

In that senses i am doing compendiums of a part of my art criticism proposing, developing and demonstrating how a scientific higly disciplinary knowledge of semiotic theory as the discipline is higly defined in the semiotic traditión, from Charles Sanders peirce to modern semiotic, barthes, eco, todorov, etc, might help in both analysing and interpreting but also understanding on the one hand language and on the hand the reconfiguration of culture, art and identity in complex societies, providing an exiting and deeper discusión of language in art in Texas, San Francisco, los ángeles and another usa cities as well as adding some of my collected writings on art from México, Venezuela and havana. 

  This collections demonstrate extending semiotic análysis to sintáctical semantique criticism and approachings of morfology, form and aesthetic how cultural anthropology must succesfully work incorporated into and from disciplinary semiotic análysis of art as text and of culture as text from the texts of art. 

  A collections of language analysis and interpretatión understanding and apretiation of current art across urban spatialities and cities including both exhibits cúrated and presented at rice University, Houston, Texas, spring 1997 by myself toguether with Venezuelan American curator and critic surpik angelini and our earlier co-founded transart Foundation of houston as well as on art presented by another curators, museums, galleries or the artists studios.
